What is FastExcel?

What Versions of Excel does FastExcel support?
- Excel 97 SR2, Excel 2000, Excel2002 (OfficeXP), Excel 2003 (Office
11) and Excel 2007 (Office 12). The SR2 update is required for Excel
97 because it fixes a number of calculation problems in Excel 97.
Will FastExcel work when I upgrade to Excel2007 (Office12)
- You should reinstall FastExcel (double-click the Install package)
after you have upgraded.
What Operating Systems does FastExcel support?
- Any Microsoft® Windows version that supports one of the required
Excel versions.
- FastExcel has been tested with Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows
NT4, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
- Problems have been reported using Virtual PC on a MAC.
What is the latest version of FastExcel?
- The latest version of FastExcel V2 is 2.3 build 483.
- There is a free upgrade from Version 1 to Version 2.3 for all
current license holders.
- All current license holders can download
and reinstall the latest build of FastExcel.
How much does FastExcel cost?
- A single-user license costs £44 (UK Pounds). You can also
pay in US Dollars ($79), Euro, Japanese Yen and Australian Dollars.
There are substantial discounts for multiple licenses.
Is there a Trial version of FastExcel?
- Unfortunately we have not yet managed to develop a trial version
of FastExcel, but you can download the Sample Problem and User Manual
from the downloads page, and we have a 30-day money-back guarantee.

- If FastExcel does not perform substantially as described on this
website and in the FastExcel documentation we will refund your purchase

- Revisions and fixes to Version 2 of FastExcel will be available
for download from this site at no additional charge to holders of
a valid and current FastExcel license.
What support do you provide for FastExcel?
Does FastExcel modify the Windows Registry?
- If you choose the Full Installation option the FastExcel installer
makes rRegistry entries to install FastExcel as an Excel add-in,
and to enable the FastExcel Uninstall package.
- If you choose the Install Files Only option then no changes
are made to the registry, and the Manuals, Help Files and FastExcel
Software are copied to the directory of your choice.
Where can I find out more about FastExcel?
When I install FastExcel it asks me for an installation password:

- Your installation Password is the license code you received when
you purchased your FastExcel license.
Help! I have lost/can't find my license code/installation password

My license code e-mail never arrived.
Check the e-mail we sent to your e-mail address. If you still can't
find it send an e-mail to Support@Decisionmodels.com,
containing:
- The e-mail address you gave when purchasing.
- Your name.
- Company Name.
- Date of Purchase.
- Currency used for Purchase.
When we have verified that the purchase took place we will e-mail
you the license code again.
Help! The download of FastExcel failed or did not complete.
- Try downloading the FastExcel install package again.
How long will it take to download the FastExcel Install package?
- The package is about 4.5MB.
- Download time depends on the speed of your Internet Connection
and the load on the Internet.
- Downloading the package at 56K should take approximately 15 minutes.
What are the terms and conditions of the FastExcel User License?
I do not have Acrobat Reader installed. Where can I get it?
